Built up Felting Systems

Built up felting systems are the traditional method of flat roofing, built up felting systems are made from modified bitumen and consist of a minimum 3 layers each layer is laid by means of gas torch, In some cases using gas torches (naked flame) does not apply with some health and safety polices and flame free systems need to be installed most commonly on schools. Flame free built up felting systems are installed with the same process but are sealed using hot air welding guns this prevents any risk of fire. Built up felting systems come with a minimum 15 year guarantee.
